Ontario Clean Energy Benefit
The benefit is for “RPP eligible” customers only.
The Ontario Government will take 10% off your electricity
bill to help you with the cost of building a clean energy
future.
The benefit is automatically applied to every eligible consumer’s bills for five years from the January 1, 2011 start date.
As of September 1, 2012 the OCEB will apply to only the first the first 3000 kWh on your bill.

Special rules are in place for low volume multi-unit residential customers.
You must self-declare the # of units and your 10% cap will be calculated using the number of units x 3000 kwhs.
Customer's who self declared multi unit status when it affected RPP pricing will not need to re-declare.

Sentinel Lights

GLOBAL ADJUSTMENT
This adjustment applies to business customers who pay the spot market price and customers who have signed a contract with a licensed electricity retailer. It appears as a separate line on their bill.
For customers who pay the Regulated Price Plan, it is factored into the rate set by the Ontario Energy Board, and does not appear as a separate line item.
