Submit a Commercial Meter Reading

Smart Meters are installed in all small businesses in the city. Smart meters send in their information wirelessly. We no longer need to receive meter reading for the majority of our customers.

Only a few businesses continue to be manually read. Our meter readers take your meter reading every month. In the event they can't access your meter, you will be left a card asking you to provide Thunder Bay Hydro with a reading. This helps you avoid an estimated, rather than actual, reading.

You will need to refer to information on the meter reading card to submit your reading, so keep it handy
