SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM 2012

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS 4:00 P.M. ON FEBRUARY 15, 2012

Thunder Bay Hydro is pleased to provide employment opportunities for summer students.  This summer, the following opportunities are available for students to gain valuable experience and skills:

  • Conservation & Energy Services (1 position)
  • Customer Service (1 position)
  • Asset Management & Engineering (2 positions)
  • Powerline/Labourer (2 positions)
  • Information Systems (1 position)

Who is eligible to apply?

Students who have been in full-time attendance (September to April) at a school, college,  university or other educational institution for the 2011-2012 academic year and who will be returning as a a full-time student in the fall of 2012.  All students must be enrolled in a co-op program at an accredited college or university.  In addition, for some positions, eligible applicants must also be Northern Ontario secondary school students who are 29 years of age or under and currently are enrolled in a co-op program at an accredited college or university (as per the funding requirements).

INTERESTED STUDENTS ARE TO SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS TO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING OFFICES:
(i) CO-OPERATIVE EDUCATION AT CONFEDERATION COLLEGE OR
(ii) THE STUDENT SUCCESS CENTRE AT LAKEHEAD UNIVERSITY

  1. A COVER LETTER INDICATING THE POSITION TITLE
  2. RESUME
  3. COMPLETED TBHYDRO “SCHOOL VERIFICATION OF ENROLLMENT FORM”
