Billing Messages

Thunder Bay Hydro will provide a non-profit community service messages on our customer statement each month.

Requests are accepted for each calendar year starting on the first business day of December of the previous year.

Requests can be emailed to
Messages should be provided in the following format:

  • 8 lines maximum
  • 34 characters maximum on each line including spaces. It you use capitalised font on one line reduce the number to 26.

Please include

  1. the preferred month of distribution
  2. your full contact information

Service is offered to non-profit organizations.  Messages must be of a non-political and non-religious nature. These messages should be considered to supplement an existing campaign or public relations effort. Messages should be general in nature and can provide a phone number or website with more information. This service is provided to each organization or cause only once during each calendar year.

Sorry, we are unable to guarantee specific dates or customer routing.  Space will be given on a first come first serve basis with preference given (in case of conflict) to organizations that have not received space in the previous year.

We reserve the right to edit or reject messages and to terminate messages if the allotted spaced is needed for Thunder Bay Hydro Use.
