You can purchase a unit that will cycle on and off using intervals that are based on the temperature outside. Learn more about intelligent parking lot controllers.
- When it is -25° C, power will be on more than when it is only -5° C.
- It the temperature rises above freezing, as it is know to do on a sunny February day, the unit will stop providing electricity.
- Each of these units could save 325 kw/hrs annually.
- This means that staff will enjoy the reliability of having their block heater used as needed and you won’t pay for electricity that isn’t needed.
