Estimated Connection Costs

The following are estimated costs for connection to the Thunder Bay Hydro Electricity Distribution System as valid in September 2009:

Serial Connected Generation:

1 bi- directional meter $100.00
1.5 hours meter teck rate + O\Hs + trucking $97.50

Parrallel Connected Generation:

1 bi- directional meter $100.00
1.5 hours meter teck rate + O\Hs + trucking $97.50
Disconnect Charge (Line Crew and truck) $300.00
Reconnect Charge (Line crew and truck) $300.00
 

These charges apply to MicroFIT connections on customers already connected to the Thunder bay Hydro grid.

New Generation Account Cost

Account Setup Fee for new account $30.00
Monthly customer account charge $5.25
