Contractor Safety
The safety of our contractors is an essential part of the Health and Safety Management System at Thunder Bay Hydro.
As a potential contractor, you may be asked to complete a pre-qualification package. This package requires the submission on information such as proof of training documents, WSIB clearances, insurance information and documents to support your Health and Safety Program.
Only those whose packages are submitted complete and hold the required information are approved and then invited to bid on the specific project. If you do not pre-qualify, you will not be invited to bid on the project. Obviously, this has the potential of lost earnings for your company. To avoid this type of situation, this section gives potential contractors as much information as possible to prepare you for a thorough and complete pre-qualification submission.
