Power Outage Emergency

Electricity in its place can be managed safely. But power lines pack a powerful and deadly punch when they are out of place. Let us know if you see

  1. Power lines down
  2. A damaged hydro pole
  3. Sparks or Fires around power lines
  4. No electricity

When to call 911

If you see a power line down or a fire or sparks on local power lines, call   911 and ask for the Fire Department to attend.

When to call the Power Outage line

We may be aware of the current outage.

Outage Map

At any time of the day or night, please call 343-1002 regarding power outages.

  • You will be able to receive a message regarding the status of any current known area outages.
    (This message would be updated about every 60 minutes if the situation changes or more information is known)
  • You can report an outage in your area if no message has been provided and you have been out of power for more than 30 minutes.
  • You will also be able to provide information to us about causes of outages that you have seen such as damaged equipment, a tree on a power line, sparking wires, pole fire  or a downed line.

Estimated Time of Restoration

Please be aware that we only provide an estimated time of restoration when we can estimate it.  If we have a crew working on a trouble area and they haven't identified a solution, it would be inappropriate to state how long it will take to fix the problem.
